First Afro-Mexican Resturant in the city of LA!
Maria Elena Lorenzo started her tamale business over 20 years ago as a cart vendor in the city of Watts, with her husband Jose and 5 daughters. As business grow Elena and her family decided to operate out of a mobile trailer. Specializing in regional food from her hometown, La Costa Chica, Guerrero, Mexico, Elena and her family opened the first Afro-Mexican restaurant in Bell Garden, Los Angeles on July 15, 2020.
